Community ecology of aquatic macroinvertebrates in both still and flowing waters. The effect of the climate-change-induced drying on stream macroinvertebrate metacommunities. Understanding the dispersal processes of water beetles and true bugs. Taxonomic and faunistic research of water beetles in an integrative (morphological and DNA-based) approach.
