Research field: Role of chemosensory systems in adaptive behaviors of invertebrates

1. Peripheral and central representation and organization of chemosensory systems encoding environmental cues in developing and adult molluscan species (Dreissena polymorpha, Lymnaea stagnalis), with special attention to chemical signalization and intercellular connections.

2. Effect of attractive and repellent odorants as well as allelochemicals on the molecular receptor expression of sensory and efferent systems, as well as on the appearance of adaptive behavioral forms.
