Investigations on chironomid fauna of the River Tisza and its environs (inflows, backwaters); studies on chironomid assemblages of Upper-Tisza (larvae, pupal exuviae).
Faunistical investigations in Lake Balaton and its inflows; qualitative and quantitative studies on benthic chironomid assemblages in open water of Lake Balaton

Studies on Trichoptera
Faunistical investigations on caddisfly larvae (Aggtelek–Rudabányai Mts., Putnoki Hills, Cserehát Mts., Hernád Valley, Szuha Valley, River Bódva, River Tisza and its catchment area, River Körös and its catchment area, Jászság Plain, Bihari Plain, Bakony Mts., inflows of Lake Balaton. Quantitative studies on caddis assemblages in different types of macrovegetation.

Studies on metaphytic macroinvertebrates
Qualitative and quantitative investigations on macroinvertebrate assemblages in different vegetation types of backwaters along the River Tisza; studies on the role of the habitat heterogeneity.
